A venue for all seasons

The hotel gardens are at their most breathtaking in the summer months, with rolling lawns, vibrant flowers, and peaceful corners that create a naturally romantic backdrop.

With five acres of landscaped grounds, there are endless opportunities for beautiful photographs and plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings throughout your day.

Each season brings its own charm.

In spring, the gardens come alive with fresh colours and new blooms that can be reflected in your theme and décor.

By autumn, the grounds are filled with rich, warm tones that create a stunning, atmospheric setting for your celebration.

During the winter months, the beauty moves indoors, where cosy fireplaces and a welcoming bar offer a warm, intimate space for you and your guests to enjoy.

Garden Pavilion

You can exchange your vows beneath our beautiful Garden Pavilion, surrounded by mature trees, open green space, and the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside. It’s a wonderfully romantic outdoor setting, perfect for couples who want nature to frame their ceremony.

A red carpet can be laid along the centre of the lawn to create a classic aisle, guiding you towards the pavilion for a truly memorable entrance. The pavilion itself is yours to decorate as you wish — whether with soft draping, seasonal flowers, or personal touches that reflect your style.

Moongate

Our Moon Gate is a much‑loved feature of the gardens and offers a stunning backdrop for wedding photography. Its circular shape naturally frames couples and guests, creating timeless, romantic images throughout the day.

Traditionally, a Moon Gate symbolises harmony, unity, and the cyclical nature of life — echoing the moon’s continuous journey. Many couples choose to walk through it together, following the belief that passing beneath the arch brings good luck and prosperity in their future life as newlyweds.

This charming architectural feature adds both meaning and beauty to your celebration, making it a memorable part of your wedding story.
