Located just a few miles from Farnham town, Farnham House Hotel is the perfect country venue. Set within 5 acres of landscaped gardens, just a short drive off the A31 up a tree lined driveway surrounded by the beautiful Surrey countryside.
Dating back to 1896 and built for Charles Frederick Roumieu, Farnham House is an arts and craft building in the style of Richard Norman Shaw. The house is a building of delightful quirks, a solid Victorian presence and modern comfort.
Over the years, Farnham House Hotel has been a home to various owners and been lots of different things from a residential nursery, a school and hotels under different ownerships.
The Hotel itself is full of history, including a bell tower where the bell is dated 1805 (the year of the Battle of Trafalgar) which was used to summon the estate workers to dinner.
