Our History
Where it all began....
Willey Park Estate was built for Charles Frederick Roumieu.

The house itself is an Arts & Crafts Building in the style of Richard Norman Shaw. It was one of the first in the area to have electricity built into its fabric as it had its own generator in the grounds.
The house is a building of delightful quirks, a solid Victorian presence and modern comfort. Within the bell tower there is a bell dated 1805 (the year of the battle of Trafalgar) which was used to summon estate workers to dinner.
During the Second World War the house became a residential nursery run as a joint venture by the Red Cross and the Order of St John
